KOEI TECMO Europe und Entwickler Omega Force gaben heute zusammen mit den Partnern TYPE-MOON und Aniplex Inc. bekannt, dass der zweite DLC für das Action-RPG Fate/Samurai Remnant ab sofort für PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™ und PC Windows über Steam® erhältlich ist. Unter dem Titel Record's Fragment: Yagyu Sword Chronicles führt der DLC Vol. 2 neue Story-Elemente und einen mysteriösen neuen Rogue Servant ein.

In Record's Fragment: Yagyu Sword Chronicles entfaltet sich im Schatten des Waxing Moon Rituals ein neues Geheimnis, als die Straßen von Edo zum Schauplatz nächtlicher Morde werden. Auf Geheiß von Sukenoshin untersuchen Miyamoto Iori und Saber die Morde an hilflosen Bürgern, die bei Sonnenaufgang tot aufgefunden werden, niedergestreckt von einem Samurai mit enormen Fähigkeiten und einer neuen tödlichen Klinge. Die Spieler bahnen sich ihren Weg durch die blutgetränkten Straßen von Edo, um den Mörder zu entlarven, bevor es zu spät ist. Auf ihrem Weg kreuzen sich ihre Wege mit einem Rogue Saber, dessen wahre Identität Yagyu Munenori ist. Mit dem Rogue Servant an ihrer Seite haben die Spieler die Chance, das Geheimnis zu lösen und den Frieden in Edo wiederherzustellen.
Fate/Samurai Remnant ist jetzt als Standard- und Digital Deluxe-Edition erhältlich. Die Digital Deluxe Edition enthält das Basisspiel, ein digitales Artbook und den Soundtrack, den Fate/Samurai Remnant Season Pass, der drei DLC-Sets enthält, und den Season Pass-Bonusgegenstand „Hallowed Relic Sword Mountings"
