In diesem, von Dambuster Studios entwickelten und von PLAION unter dem Label Deep Silver veröffentlichten, Action-RPG kämpft man sich in einer höllischen Version von Los Angeles (oder HELL-A, wie wir es gerne nennen) durch Horden von Zombies.
Da die Stadt aufgrund eines tödlichen Virus unter Quarantäne steht, liegt es an den irgendwie immunen Schlächtern, sich auf eine epische Pulp-Reise zu begeben, zahlreiche verrückte Charaktere zu treffen und bekannte Orte wie Beverly Hills, Venice Beach und Santa Monica zu erkunden, um die Wahrheit hinter dem Ausbruch aufzudecken und herauszufinden, in wen oder was sie verwandelt wurden.
Das Zerhacken von Zombies hat noch nie so viel Spaß gemacht, und dank des F.L.E.S.H.-Systems (Fully Locational Evisceration System for Humanoids) von Dambuster, das die Zerstückelung herrlich blutig macht, werden die Spieler das wirklich sehen und fühlen. Um dieses Gemetzel so abwechslungsreich wie möglich zu machen, bietet das Abenteuer tonnenweise Waffen, Mods und Fertigkeiten, die eine vollständige Personalisierung und verrückte Builds ermöglichen.
Es gibt Dutzende von verschiedenen Zombie-Typen, alle mit eigenen Mutationen, Angriffen und LA-typischen Variationen. Und wenn die Spieler eine helfende Hand brauchen, sorgt der spannende Koop-Modus (bis zu drei Spieler) für einen langen Aufenthalt in der von Untoten überrannten Stadt der Engel.
