Hunt: Showdown erhält mit dem Patch 1.7.2, der heute für PC und am 3. Februar für Konsolen veröffentlicht wird, eine ganze Reihe von Updates.
Der mysteriöse Mr. Orwell Chary - der zum ersten Mal im letzten Winter Solstice-Event auftauchte - kehrt zurück und bietet den Spielern im Rahmen der neuen Funktion „Dark Tribute" jeden Tag Belohnungen im Tausch gegen unterschiedliche Mengen an Bloodline XP. Zu den möglichen Belohnungen gehören der exklusive Legendary Hunter „Bad Hand" - und andere legendäre Gegenstände.
Eine Vielzahl neuer Belohnungen wird auch für erstmalige tägliche Extractions eingeführt, darunter Hunter XP and Hunt Dollars, während Blood Bonds für erfolgreiche Extractions an fünf aufeinanderfolgenden Tagen ausgegeben werden.
Zu den legendären Inhalten, die mit dem Patch hinzukommen, gehören die Flare Pistol „Death's Beacon", das Romero 77 Talon „Maelstrom", das Winfield M1873 Musket Bayonet „Patre" und das Bornheim No. 3 Match „Mockingbird".
Zu den neuen Waffenvarianten gehören ein Scottfield Model 3 Spitfire, Scottfield Model 3 Precision, Scottfield Model 3 Swift und ein Berthier Mle 92 Deadeye. Für die Winfield- und Winfield C-Varianten wird außerdem neue Custom Full Metal Jacket-Munition zur Verfügung gestellt.

Spieler können auch das chinesische Neujahrsfest mit dem Hunt: Showdown DLC Azure Arsenal feiern, der am 1. Februar für Steam und am 8. Februar für Konsolen veröffentlicht wird.
