KOEI TECMO Europe gibt bekannt, dass A.O.T. 2 am 20. März 2018 erscheint. Die Fortsetzung des Action-Spiels A.O.T. – Wings of Freedom, basierend auf dem erfolgreichen Anime Attack on Titan, erscheint für PlayStation®4, Xbox One und Nintendo Switch™.
Begleitend zu dieser Meldung veröffentlicht KOEI TECMO Europe einen neuen Trailer, der aus dem Anime bekannte Charaktere wie Marlo Freudenberg und Mina Carolina im rasanten Kampf gegen die verschiedenen Titanen-Klassen zeigt.
Spieler kreieren in A.O.T. 2 ihren eigenen Scout – eines der neuen Features im Spiel – und erleben so die spannende Geschichte, der ersten beiden Anime-Staffeln, aus einem völlig anderen Blickwinkel. Mit erweiterten Bewegungsmöglichkeiten und zahlreichen neuen Fähigkeiten, müssen Spieler strategisch gegen die mächtigen Titanen vorgehen, um im Kampf zu überleben. Trickreiche Angriffe aus dem Hinterhalt und der Einsatz von Fernwaffen aus dem Verborgenen werden durch neue Hilfsmittel ermöglicht.
Zusätzlich halten Rollenspiel-Elemente Einzug in A.O.T. 2 und lassen Spieler Beziehungen zu bekannten Charakteren der Serie aufbauen, um mehr über deren Motivation und Hintergründe des Attack-on-Titan-Universum zu erfahren.
