KOEI TECMO Europe en ontwikkelaar Gust hebben vandaag nieuwe informatie onthuld over de hoofdpersonages van FAIRY TAIL 2, een aanstaande Action RPG gebaseerd op de populaire FAIRY TAIL-serie. Fans kunnen ook al genieten van de eerste beelden van het originele verhaal in de game, ‘The Key to the Unknown’, met gebeurtenissen die plaatsvinden na het laatste gevecht in het oorspronkelijke verhaal. FAIRY TAIL 2 is een direct vervolg op de KOEI TECMO game uit 2020 en is nu in ontwikkeling voor PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™ en Windows PC via Steam®.
In FAIRY TAIL 2 besturen spelers Natsu en de andere leden van de Fairy Tail Guild, met iconische personages als Lucy, Gray, Erza en Wendy in een reis over de uitgestrekte velden van het koninkrijk Fiore. Samen vechten ze in flitsende, magische gevechten tegen hun aartsvijand Emperor Zeref of the Alvarez Empire en de Spriggan 12, een groep formidabele magiërs met onder andere Irene, Ajeel, Dimaria en Brandish.
Fans kunnen niet alleen de climax van het laatste hoofdstuk van de Alvarez Empire Arc beleven; ze kunnen ook de gebeurtenissen na het laatste gevecht ontdekken in een gloednieuw verhaal genaamd ‘The Key to the Unknown’, exclusief voor FAIRY TAIL 2.
