Skull and Bones New Podcast Series Dive Into The Epic Lives Of The Most Famous Pirates Of The 14th Century Indian Ocean, Hosted by Michelle Rodriguez

Discover the life and death of the most famous pirates in History in the “Gangsters of the Sea” podcast series starting on January 15th.

Today, Ubisoft announced that the first episode of Gangster of the Seas, a new season of the "Echoes of History” documentary series produced by Paradiso Media, is available now on all podcast platforms*

Inspired by Ubisoft’s famous video game series “Assassin’s Creed”, the “Echoes of History” podcast offers a deep and fascinating dive into history. Through storytellers and historians, discover the most epic mythologies, relive the most important times of our history and meet the most extraordinary characters. The new season of "Echoes of History" features Ubisoft's new game: "Skull and Bones". Inspired by this adventure where players write their own destinies as sea bandits, the podcast "Gangsters of the Seas" dives into the sordid history of the Indian Ocean's most terrible pirates through eight episodes of 20 minutes.
 
Hosted by Michelle Rodriguez, “Gangsters of the Seas” is a series of portraits of eight infamous pirates who operated in the Indian Ocean during the Golden Age of Piracy. Discover the epic and often violent lives of the likes of Henry Every, Thomas Tew, Kanhoji Angre of William Kidd. From stranded buccaneers to admirals, from privateers' pioneers, these captains shaped piracy and extended their influence across the incredibly rich area of the world which inspired Skull and Bones. It is your turn to be inspired by their infamous trajectories, and to become a pirate.

Developed by Ubisoft Singapore in collaboration with other Ubisoft studios**, Skull and Bones is a co-op open world pirate action RPG where you play by your own rules to become the most infamous pirate kingpin and build your smuggling empire in a perilous world.
 
Skull and Bones will be released on February 16, 2024 with cross-play and cross-progression on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X | S, Amazon Luna as well as Windows PC through the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect. Players can also subscribe to Ubisoft+ on Xbox, Amazon Luna and PC to get the game three days early, on February 13
