Vandaag, tijdens The Game Awards 2021, onthulde SEGA Sonic Frontiers, de allereerste open-zone-geïnspireerde game-ervaring van de iconische franchise. De onthulling ging vergezeld van een spectaculaire trailer die Sonic-fans een eerste blik gunde op deze komende action-adventure-titel. Sonic Frontiers verschijnt eind 2022 voor de huidige en next-gen consoles.
Sonic Frontiers is ontwikkeld door de ervaren leden van SEGA's Sonic Team Japan, onder leiding van producer Sachiko Kawamura en regisseur Morio Kishimoto, en biedt Sonic-fans een geheel nieuwe soort Sonic-ervaring. In de gevaarlijke en uitgestrekte wereld van Sonic Frontiers is alles mogelijk en krijgen spelers alle vrijheid om het visueel verbluffende, open-zone-rijk naar eigen inzicht te verkennen.
